About Vinu Narayanan

I'm Vinu Narayanan, the person behind Winvish Tech and Winvish CSC Services — a Common Service Centre operating out of Kambrathchalla, in Muthalamada Grama Panchayath, Palakkad. What started as a small neighbourhood computer centre has grown, over the years, into something I'm genuinely proud of: a place where local families get their government work done without the runaround, and where I get to build the kind of digital tools I always wanted to use myself.

A technologist who chose the village

I hold an MCA from the College of Applied Science, Vadakkanchery (Calicut University, 2012), and a BSc in Electronics from Government College, Chittur (Calicut University, 2008). Most of my classmates went to Bangalore, Kochi, or further. I chose to stay rooted here — and to bring the technology home with me.

That decision shapes everything I do. Whether it's an Aadhaar update, a PAN application, a vehicle registration check, or a passport appointment, I treat each piece of paperwork the way a developer treats a bug: carefully, accurately, and start to finish. No half-finished forms, no "come back next week."

What you'll find at the centre

Winvish CSC Services is an authorised Common Service Centre under the Government of India's Digital India programme. From the counter, my colleague and I handle a wide range of citizen services — government certificates, financial inclusion services, insurance, travel bookings, printouts, scans, and document conversions — along with a few specialised tools I've built in-house (like our RC Book PDF converter and vehicle details dashboard) to make routine jobs faster and more accurate for you.

Building beyond the counter

When I'm not at the shop, I'm usually writing code. I run cscvlemission.in/portal, a platform serving fellow CSC VLEs across Palakkad District with shared resources, forms, and tools. I'm also the developer behind VeloBoard, a cycling analytics SaaS — a passion project that grew out of my own morning rides on the roads around Nenmara, Chittur, and Kollengode.

I believe the village is the right place to build for India. Every line of code I write is informed by what I see across the counter every day — real people, real problems, real solutions.
